Brief information about stones

• You can encrust any stone, there are no restrictions on the level or other parameters.
• All gems have a different quality (grade), type and type. The type of stone has its own subspecies (with different characteristics).
• The same type of stone cannot be installed in a weapon.
• Stones add various parameters and properties (for example: reduce the attack speed of the enemy).
• For a small fee at low levels, stones can be extracted, at a high level the price is quite high.
• Stones that have already been installed and removed from the item cannot be sold or transferred to another player.
• Stones can be broken to give you resources with a small chance to create other types of stones. When trying to break an improved stone, the chance to get resources increases.
• At the time of the last patch of the Blade and Soul game, there are 7 types of gems (differ in colors).

Types of stones

Ruby

With any attack, except damage from DoT (a buff on the enemy that deals a certain amount of damage per second), gives a chance for an additional effect:

• + 400 additional damage
• + 140 additional damage, stuns the enemy for 2.5 seconds
• 100% Critical Chance for the next two attacks within 2.5 seconds

Tip: Not bad for PVE, but the stun effect does not work in boss dungeons, so gems with bonuses for critical or additional damage are the best choice. But in PVP, the stun will come in handy more than once.

Amethyst

With critical damage, there is a chance for an additional effect, which is indicated on the stone. Effects:

• Absorbs 200 HP
• Restores 300 HP
• +220 bonus damage
• +3 attack power, absorbs 200 enemy HP

Tip: Hexagonal amethysts are the best. In practice, damage absorption is better than health recovery.

Diamond

Adds various features. The top option for 28 attack power, 3 other types are currently useless.

Tip: If there is no Jewelcrafting skill, then gems are purchased at the auction. It is better to purchase a 5-angle diamond (23 attack power), because the best stones are quite expensive. The difference in three attack strengths is not critical.

Topaz

Adds various properties when knocked out (knock down the enemy) and when stunning the enemy. At the moment there are 3 types, but the top one for attack power + absorption of enemy health:

• +5 attack power, absorbs 100 enemy HP

Important: This stone increases the "attack power" parameter. Regardless of the attack power without a stone, the increase in the parameter on a player with a stone will be permanent.

Beryl

Adds a chance to gain useful stats when dodging a character. There are currently four top gems, but we are only interested in 1:

• Ignore control for 3 seconds, + 150 attack crit for 30 seconds

Tip: This Beryl is great for PVP and for those who have recently upgraded to level 45 (not a bad increase in critical damage).

1. Jewelers can create stones on their own. To do this, it is desirable to learn the extraction of ore and stones. Jewelery resources are sold at the auction if the player has enough money to buy.
2. Stones are sold at auction and from other players.
3. In dungeons and raids, after killing the boss, there is a chance to get a stone as a reward.
4. The Glacier has a Wheel of Fortune, where for Naryu coins there is a chance to get top 6 coal stones. This method is considered one of the best for getting the best gems.
5. When dismantling weapons for resources, there is a small chance that a random stone will fall out. This method will not bring the top stone. At the moment, there is no information that any of the players were able to get the best stone.
6. In the "Transform" tab, which is located in the lower corner of the inventory, you can craft boxes with low-level stones. This is true at low levels, for high level players such stones are useless.

Weapon Upgrade

Every weapon above the blue (rare) type always has a gem slot. Each such slot has its own shape and you can insert the corresponding stone of any kind into it. The maximum number of weapon slots that can be found in the game is 4.

Stone installation:

• open the weapon menu: Shift+LMB opens the weapon menu and in the menu that opens, a stone is placed in the cell (drag and drop from the inventory to the slot);
• You can also open the weapon menu by dragging the gem icon over the weapon picture in your inventory.

If the player made a mistake with a stone, or found a better option, then the stone can be pulled out for a fee. To remove a stone in the weapon menu, right-click on an unnecessary stone.

Tip: At high levels, the cost of removing a gem is quite expensive, so players who have recently maxed out need to carefully select gems.

If the number of slots in the weapon is less than 4, then additional slots can be added using the "Cell" item. Such objects ("cells") also have a form and quality. The shape corresponds to the shapes of the stones, but the quality affects the chance of successfully adding a slot and its shape.

Blade and Soul has a system for improving (morphs) weapons and jewelry, using both special items (corundum and opal), as well as other weapons (any type) and jewelry as consumables.

In order to start strengthening - you need to open inventory [I] → button [Improvement] → select the weapon / decoration to be improved.

Conventionally, the improvement process can be divided into 2 parts:

• “sharpening” of weapons/jewelry up to level 5 with any consumables (various weapons, stones, decorations)

• “enhancement” - thanks to which the item is “pumped” up to level 6 and gets the opportunity to be strengthened up to level 10. Strengthening requires a certain type (wand - wand, ax - ax, etc.) of a specific weapon, as well as additional consumables and a certain amount of money.

When a weapon/jewelry reaches its maximum available level (level 10) - it can be reforged into a new weapon/jewelry.

This is done with the help of an old “pumped” weapon/decoration and a certain type of weapon/jewellery corresponding to it, as well as additional consumables and a certain amount of money.

As you can see in the example above, thanks to the reforging from the Weapon of the Path of Khon lvl.10, you can get the Guard Weapon of the Spawn lvl.1, which can be strengthened and reforged in the same way in the future.

Creating items in the game

What profession to choose?

Let's talk about the orientation of professions, or rather, what each of them makes.

• Alchemist's Guild - focused on potions that can help restore health in a difficult fight.
• Guild of Astrologers - All astrologers create amulets that have different directions. For example, they can help speed up the gaining of experience or print weapons and jewelry.
• Guild of Cooks - Cooks make food, however, not easy. It helps to temporarily increase the characteristics and abilities of your character.
• Blacksmiths Guild - Blacksmiths are perhaps one of the most needed professions. They are able to create special stones, with the help of which the morph is carried out, as well as special hammers. They help repair weapons in emergency situations.
• Jewelers' Guild - Help you craft keys to open reward chests. In addition, they will craft gems that increase the stats of your weapons.

Raising the level of our profession

Raising the level of your profession, you gain new orders. They are, one might say, special. Only there is a snag. You can start crafting such items only after a certain achievement in the game is achieved. In the crafting window in Blade and Soul, they are marked as the sign of the goblet. Near it you can find the name of this achievement.

Chests with materials

All high-level dungeons can contain a huge amount of very useful items. In this case, we'll look at material chests. You can get them both from direct tasks for passing the dungeon, and for killing certain bosses.

After that, the question immediately arises: how to open these chests? This requires certain keys. All of them are made by each of the existing guilds. For example, blacksmiths, jewelers, priests, and so on.

There are several types of such chests:

• Chests with Master Materials - can be obtained by completing the dungeons in normal mode;
• Expert Material Chests - Hard Dungeon Mode;
• Expert material chests - raid dungeons;

The most valuable thing you can get from such a chest is a rare element.
