Brand eleganzza. Werewolf brands and more (leather goods)

Werewolf brands and more (leather goods)

I published articles about werewolf brands of clothing, shoes, electronics and household appliances a long time ago, and they were read by a large number of people. Now there is a need to create another article - on dubious brands in the field of leather goods (bags, purses, wallets, document covers, and so on).

Attention! Classifying any brand as a werewolf is a very responsible matter. It's hard to say anything with 100% certainty, so... I'm not taking on this matter. Therefore, I emphasize that here I am collecting simply suspicious brands. And I explain why they are suspicious. In addition, brands that do not hide their Russian origin are placed here: just for information, since there are people who, due to the fact that the name is foreign, think that the brand itself is, say, English or Italian.

Despite the fact that I took a very responsible approach to compiling this material, I could make mistakes. Therefore, you can use the information only at your own peril and risk. I emphasize that the presence of a brand in an article does not mean that it is a “werewolf”. I undertake to correct incorrect data upon request if irrefutable evidence of their erroneousness is provided.

Alessandro Beato. It seems that products of this brand are sold only in Russia and, possibly, CIS countries. The brand does not have its own website. There is no information about him on the Italian-language Internet either. The country of manufacture, judging by some online stores, is China.

Antonio Biaggi. Positions itself as an Anglo-Italian brand of footwear and leather goods. It has English and Italian language sections of the site, but in the “Where to buy” sections in these sections you can only find Russian and Ukrainian stores. The domain of the international website Antonio Biaggi is registered to the Ukrainian company Antonio Biaggi Ukraine LLC (see). There is no information about Antonio Biaggi leather goods on the foreign Internet. As the brand itself states on its website, Antonio Biaggi products are made in Italy, Portugal, Brazil and China.

Aurelli. This brand is positioned as Italian, but has only an English-language website, and this website is primitive, the online store does not work on it (as of 08/29/2017 there were no available payment methods even for the brand’s supposed native Italy). The domain of this site is registered by a Russian registrar (to whom exactly, it is impossible to find out). The Aurelli brand is manufactured in China.

Some stores pass off this brand as Italian. He doesn’t even have a website in Russian; There is no information about Barkli bags and leather goods on the Italian and English-language Internet. The brand's items are apparently only sold in Russia and possibly some nearby countries. Judging by the information on the websites of some stores, these things are made in China.

Beidi Erke (B.D.E.K). Judging by the information on the websites of some online stores, it is a Chinese brand with Chinese production. Beidi Erke does not seem to have its own website, nor does it have any company stores. Some sellers talk about some Italian quality.

Brialdi. Pretends to be an Italian brand. There is a rather lengthy legend. The site is only in Russian; there is practically no information about the brand on the foreign Internet. The boxes in which some items are packaged are provided with text only in Russian. The country of manufacture of items is not indicated on the website. It is claimed that the items are handmade, but it is obvious that they are all sewn on ordinary machines.

Bristan Wero. It poses as an Italian brand, and has an immodest legend in its arsenal. The site, however, is only in Russian. There is no information about this brand on the Italian-language Internet at all. Bristan Wero products appear to be sold only in Russia (and perhaps in some CIS countries).

On its website, this brand indicates that it appeared in 2011 as a result of cooperation between an Italian design studio and a Russian leather workshop (it would be more correct to say a factory, given the Carlo Gattini assortment, which includes hundreds of items). Which studio, where it is located, what website it has is unknown. There is no information about leather goods and Carlo Gattini bags on either the English or Italian-language Internet. They are produced in Russia (the brand does not hide this); Apparently they are also sold only in Russia.

Chatte. This brand claims to be French, but only has an English-language website. This site is simple, its domain is registered by a Russian registrar in the name of a person from Moscow. The online store on this site, as of August 29, 2017, apparently did not work, since there were no payment method options even for the brand’s supposedly native France.

Brand Cristina Rui can hardly be called truly Italian. He does not have his own website; and on reference sites about trademarks you can find information that although the Cristina Rui brand is indeed registered in Italy, it was only in 2009, and its owner is Fenglei Wu - it does not seem that he is Italian... And the prices for Cristina Rui bags are quite tall. Cristina Rui products are sold in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia and the Czech Republic; It was not possible to find sellers in other countries.

D'Angeny. Supposedly an Italian brand. However, he does not have a website in Italian, and there is no information about him on the Italian or English-language Internet. d'Angeny products appear to be sold only in Russia and some CIS countries.

David Jones. There is such an Australian online store, but what is sold in Russian online stores under the guise of David Jones Paris is related to it. And, of course, it has nothing to do with Paris either.

Dierhoff. On its website, the brand indicates that its products are considered the standard of quality and style, talks about some Italian roots and a craftsman with the surname Dierhoff... However, this brand has a full-fledged website only in Russian, there is nothing in Italian. There is a simple website in English, but it is registered to a private person from Russia and is also hosted in Russia (see). There is no information about Dierhoff leather goods in the Western European segment of the Internet.

Dissona. There is information that this brand used to be Italian, but now it has a website only in Chinese, and the brand is registered to a Hong Kong company (see and); The Gillivo brand is also registered to the same company, which will be discussed below. Some stores call the Dissona brand Italian, which is questionable for the reasons stated above. Moreover, there is reason to believe that this brand was previously Chinese, since its website from 2006 has been preserved (see). There are sections in Italian and English, but the contacts are only Chinese and Hong Kong, and the description text in English was clearly written by someone who speaks this language very poorly (or it is just a machine translation).

Domani. A network of multi-brand stores of bags, accessories and shoes. Among the brands there are both fairly well-known international brands and very suspicious ones, and among the suspicious ones is the Domani brand. The website of the company and brand Domani is only in Russian. There is no information about this brand on the English- or Italian-language Internet. Apparently, the company's products are sold only in Russia and the CIS countries. There are no special legends on the Domani website, although for some reason it is stated that Domani is one of the world's leading brands.

Dor. Flinger. Brand of bags and wallets. Doesn't have its own website. Some online stores position the brand as German, world-famous and very fashionable (allegedly it participates in foreign fashion shows, wallets are designed by world-famous designers, and so on). However, on the foreign Internet there is information about Dor. There is no Flinger at all. These items are sold only in Russia and the CIS countries.

Dr. Koffer. It is positioned as an American brand, has a decent English-language website and even Twitter; There is information about it on the English-language Internet. However, using Google Trends, you can determine that the query “Dr. Koffer" Google is asked only by Russian users (see). Moreover, it turned out that the domain of the English site Dr. Koffer is registered to a Russian person. Maybe the owner really lives in the USA and runs the brand from there, but the brand is clearly aimed specifically at Russian consumers.

Eleganzza. This supposedly Italian brand with a detailed legend on its website is suspicious for several reasons. Hosting of the Italian site is in Russia. The Italian-language site is noticeably poorer in content than the Russian-language site. There are several dozen Russian stores, but in Italy there is only one showroom (by the way, opened relatively recently). The online store is only in Russian, only for Russia. There is practically no information about this brand on the foreign Internet. Finally, the words “dynamically developing fashion house” in the brand descriptions in English and Italian are an argument in favor of the fact that the original text was in Russian, because Russian companies are very fond of such wording.

Supposedly Italian bag brands are very suspicious Fiato And Curanni. Information about them is available almost exclusively on the Russian-language Internet. The prices are quite high. There are no official websites at all, but we were able to discover that in February 2013 the domains bags-fiato.ru and bags-curanni.ru were registered to a Russian private individual. In addition, a Chinese website was discovered that offers a wide range of Curanni bags (see).

Fabretti. Another supposedly Italian brand. The site is only in Russian, and the coordinates of only Russian stores are indicated there; There is no information on the Italian-language Internet. Fabretti bags and other products are sold mainly in Russia. It is worth adding that, apparently, the Fabretti brand is closely related to the Leo Ventoni brand, which will be discussed below. On Wildberries, for Fabretti products, Russia is indicated as the brand country, and Italy as the manufacturing country... however, it is worth keeping in mind that the Made in Italy label does not guarantee that the product was made in Italy at least half (for more details, see) .

Franco Bellucci. Polish brand of bags, wallets and other accessories. He does not hide his origin, but due to the obvious name “under Italy” he falls into the category of “werewolves”. There is no Italian language on the Franco Bellucci website at all, there is English, Polish and German. It is worth adding that in Russia shoes under the Franco Bellucci brand are also sold, but on the official website of this Polish brand the shoes are not presented at all, and in the Polish segment of the Internet there is information only about bags and accessories of this brand. Therefore, it is possible that Franco Bellucci shoes have nothing to do with Poland.

Francesco Marconi. This brand claims its Italian origin. The name, apparently, is “inspired” by the name and surname of the Italian opera singer Francesco Marconi, who lived at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. In Italy, no one knows about the Francesco Marconi brand, neither does the Italian Google. The brand has a foreign website, but there is practically no information there. There is only a small legend about the mythical designer Francesco Marconi. What is especially interesting is that if you add /new/ to the site address, a new version of the site will appear. And there is already another legend. There is not a word about Francesco Marconi, but there is talk about the partnership of the Italian Tonelli family with the Russian distributor. There is information that this is a brand specially created for Russia.

In at least one place there is an obvious untruth, showing the dishonesty of the brand owners. It is also interesting that in the “Contacts” section the Moscow Show-room is indicated, but there is no version of the site in Italian at all. As you might guess, Francesco Marconi products are sold mainly in Russia, but where they are produced is not really known. However, this Chinese site raises suspicions. And there is information that at least some of Francesco Marconi's bags are made in China. Some models, perhaps in Italy. The prices are quite high, there are reviews both positive and negative.

Francesco Molinary. Quite an interesting situation. The brand tells a legend about itself, but does not directly declare its Italian origin (rather, it simply very actively hints at it). His website is only in Russian; information about Francesco Molinary bags is available only on the Russian-language Internet. And from the very name of the brand you can guess that it is not Italian: the letter “y” at the end of the surname is atypical for the Italian language. The surname of musician and conductor Francesco Molinari, whom the brand considers the inspiration for its name, also does not have the letter “y”: it sounds like Molinari-Pradelli.

Galaday. Sometimes this brand is positioned as Italian, but the Wildberries store directly writes: the country of the brand is Russia. Made in China. The site is not even in Russian; the site is only in Chinese (galaday.asia), and is very simple. It is worth adding that, apparently, the Galaday brand is associated with the Leo Ventoni brand, which will be discussed below.

Gaude. De jure the brand is Italian, but there are several “buts”. His Italian site is noticeably more modest than the Russian one and very poor in content. The domain of this site is registered to an Italian company, but the contact person is a lady with a Russian-language first and last name (you can check it). Gaude bags seem to be sold only in Russia and some CIS countries. I did not find any offers in Western European stores. According to a message from a Gaude representative, the brand was indeed founded by a Russian citizen, and Gaude items have been produced since 2009, also mainly in Russia (from 2017, production will be entirely Russian).

Gillian. Bags of this brand can be found in the Domani stores mentioned above. The brand is positioned as Italian, but there is no information about it on the Italian Internet. There is no website at all, even in Russian. Production, as indicated on the Domani website, is Chinese.

Gillivo. A shady brand that apparently doesn't have its own website. On the English-language Internet, I found information that the brand was founded in 1988 in Paris, and its second name is Jia Liao (apparently, the founders are Chinese). At the same time, one of the Russian online stores states that the brand was created in 1985 in Italy. There is very little meaningful information about this brand on the English-language Internet, and there is none at all on the Italian-language Internet. The brand is registered to a Hong Kong company (see).

Giorgio Ferretti. A very suspicious brand of bags and wallets, which is positioned as Italian. There is practically no information about the Giorgio Ferretti brand on the foreign Internet; This brand’s websites are only in Russian. The question of where Giorgio Ferretti accessories are produced is cleverly avoided everywhere; But there are unproven words that the brand has existed since 1975, that the best Italian designers are working on the development of products, that Giorgio Ferretti products are very popular all over the world. However, it is easy to see that the last statement is incorrect: Giorgio Ferretti bags and accessories are sold only in Russia and Ukraine. The prices are quite high.

Kellen. At least some stores claim that it is an Italian brand with Italian production. This brand does not have a website at all. There is no information about him and his bags on the Italian-language Internet. These bags seem to be sold only in Russia (and, perhaps, in some CIS countries).

Lakestone. The site is only in Russian. There is no information about bags of this brand on the English-language Internet, so it seems that they are sold only in Russia and, perhaps, some CIS countries. Speaking about itself, the brand says that it is “filled with the ideas of British designers,” but there is no direct indication of English origin.

Lamagio. There is no website at all, not even in Russian. Information about bags of this brand is only available on the Russian-language Internet. The country of production of bags is Russia. Sometimes this brand is presented by sellers as Italian.

Labbra. The site is only in Russian; There is no information on the origin of the brand, but in stores this brand is often positioned as Italian. There is no information about Labbra bags on the foreign Internet. These bags are made in China.

Leo Ventoni- supposedly an Italian brand of bags and leather goods. The site is only in Russian. Products are presented only in stores in Russia and CIS countries. There is no information about Leo Ventoni bags on the Italian-language Internet (more precisely, there is one article, but on a very primitive website and, moreover, with prices in rubles).

Lorenzo Pratto. I couldn’t find the website of this brand, but on the website of Domani stores that sell things of this brand, the cards of several products say that the manufacturer is Russia. It is curious that the Pan Suitcase website provides different information (brand country - Italy, country of production - China). There is no information about Lorenzo Pratto on the Italian-language Internet.

Marina Creazioni (Marina C). De jure the brand is Italian, but it belongs to the Trade House company, which seems to be owned by a woman from Russia (you can check the Marina-C.it website using this service). It is very likely that Russia is the main market for this brand.

Mattioli. Belarusian manufacturer of bags. Currently, he writes openly about his origins. Mattioli bags are sold in four countries: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan. Made in Belarus.

Moronero. Sometimes this brand of bags is called a famous Italian brand, but it does not have a website in Italian, and there is no information about it on the Italian-language Internet.

Nobel. Sometimes this brand is presented as German, but in fact it is Turkish - even a very cursory search on the English-language Internet shows this. Production is also Turkish. The English site is not available.

Palio. Another supposedly Italian brand. He does not have a website at all, but products of this brand are sold in some large Russian online stores. There is no information about Palio bags on the foreign Internet, but there is information that this brand belongs to a Chinese company (see). The country of origin of Palio bags is China. The distributor of Palio in Russia is the same company that supplies Fabretti and Leo Ventoni products (see above).

Pellecon (shop). Here you can find products from both the real Italian brand Tony Perotti and very dubious brands: Cefiro, Dierhoff(already mentioned above), Pellecon, Sergio Valentini, Taoko Tanishi. There is no meaningful information about these brands on the foreign Internet; Sergio Valentini has a foreign website, but it is hosted in Russia, the domain is also registered in Russia.

Pimo Betti (PimoBetti). It is stated that this is an Italian brand. He does not have a website in Russian, Italian, or English, but I found some rather interesting information about the registration of this trademark to a Chinese company (see). Pimo Betti bags are sold very actively in Russia, but I could not find them in Western European stores. There is no meaningful information about this brand on the Italian-language Internet. Judging by the websites of some online stores, the country of production of Pimo Betti products is China.

Redmond. Very often in shopping centers there are stores of this brand, which has nothing to do with the USA and Italy. However, Redmond did not create any special legends - the brand’s website only talks about the collaboration of Russian, Italian and American designers (which is very, very difficult to verify). Redmond products are produced in Russia and, probably, in China. Definitely not in Italy. However, Redmond's quality is good, there are many positive reviews. Just keep in mind that this is a Russian brand.

Sabellino. This is an honest brand, but the “Italian-sounding” name may mislead someone, so it’s worth including it here for the sake of completeness. On his website he writes about Russian origin and that the products are made in Russia, China and Italy. One of the features of the brand is the production of leather goods from eco-leather (a high-quality and environmental substitute for leather). The same company also owns the Piero brand.

Sara. The brand is positioned as Italian, but there is no information about it on the Italian-language Internet (more precisely, I managed to find the page of some leather goods store on Facebook, but it has a different logo, and the page is almost empty, it has not been updated since 2010). The Sara brand also does not have a website in Russian. Sara bags are made in China. (I will note in the margin that Sara Burglar is a real Italian brand and is not related to Sara).

Sefaro Collection. The brand does not hide its Russian origin, but indicates that its bags and accessories are manufactured in Italy by Pelleteria Luisa. There are many things that confuse me at once: 1) very low prices - simply unrealistic for real Made in Italy products made of genuine leather; 2) a mistake in the word Pelletteria - Italians would never make a spelling mistake in the name of a company, because in Italian there is only the word Pelletteria; 3) the presence of a couple of companies with the same name - they seem to be registered in Italy, but are called Pelletteria Luisa di Zheng Ming Fang and Pelletteria Luisa di Zhang Zhongwu; 4) the absence of links to the company’s website and generally any information about it - except that it is supposedly based in the city of Bergamo.

The most interesting thing is that some Sefaro Collection bags have Florence written on them - and on some other sites they are also sold as Florence Collection, also allegedly made in Italy. The prices are unrealistically low. The distribution of Florence Collection bags in Russia is handled by a certain “Innovative Trading Company” - a dynamically developing company, as they write on their website. Of course, there is no information about Florence Collection brand bags outside the Russian-language Internet.

Sergio Belotti. Another "Italian". Italian Google, however, knows practically nothing about this brand; the results are in Russian. The prices are high, the quality is said to be good. The brand’s website is only in Russian, and it’s very poor. A legend about Italian masters, but not particularly well-developed. Needless to say, Sergio Belotti is known only in Russia (and even then, fortunately, not too widely). For many Segio Belotti products on Wildberries, China is indicated as the country of origin.

Sergio Valentini. The brand is passed off as Italian (at least sometimes). She has a foreign website. but only in English - and it is hosted in Russia, the domain is also registered in Russia. There are some complaints about the quality.

S.Quire. A brand of leather goods and various accessories that passes off as Italian. There is no own website; Information about the brand is only available on the Russian-language Internet. The very presence of a flask with the Russian coat of arms in the assortment raises serious doubts about the Italian origin of the brand; prices are too low for Made in Italy items.

Stevens. There are at least two brands of bags with this name. One of them is clearly Russian, has a website only in Russian and does not hide its Russian origin and production. Another brand, Stevens (with the signature Designed in London under the logo) has an English-language website, but this site is primitive, the online store does not work on it (as of 08/29/2017; when you click on Proceed to checkout, a window appears with the inscription “text here” , and that’s it / see screenshot below). The domain of this site is registered by a Russian registrar in the name of a person from Moscow. At the same time, the brand itself is presented as English. It is made in China.

Tony Bellucci. Some stores pass off this brand as Italian, but Wildberries.ru directly writes: the country of the brand is Turkey, the country of production is Turkey. The official website - Bondnon.com - is only available in Turkish. There you can find products not only by Tony Bellucci, but also by another brand owned by the same company - Bond (Bond Non). This site states that the products are made in both Turkey and Italy, but all ten models that I randomly selected from Wildberries were made in Turkey.

TonyPerotti.ru. This “official distributor of Tony Perotti in Russia” sells products not only of the Italian brand Tony Perotti, but also of other rather dubious brands: Bruno Perri, I Dogi, Maria Carla, Valentina, Valia, Winpard, Valeri. There is practically no information about Bruno Perri, Valia, Valeri leather goods on the foreign Internet. There is information about I Dogi, but it is a manufacturer of lamps, not leather goods. Italian brands with the name Valentina (there are at least two of them) are unlikely to produce belts that cost 670 rubles. Winpard is a Chinese brand that does not hide its origin. As for Maria Carla, there are at least two brands with this name; Milanese Maria Carla's bags are much more expensive than on the TonyPerotti.ru website, and another brand, Maria Carla, does not have its own website and is quite suspicious.

Another mysterious leather goods brand - Vasheron, about which I wrote in a little more detail here. Its owners wanted to modestly join the fame of the famous Swiss watch brand Vacheron Constantin. The Vacheron brand is also positioned as Swiss, the prices are high. Moreover, the site is only in Russian; The domain is registered in Russia and the server is also located in Russia. There is no information about Vacheron leather goods on the foreign Internet, and representatives of Vacheron Constantin state that this Vacheron has nothing to do with them. Since 2015, the owners of this mysterious brand have rebranded; now it's called Narvin (Narvin by Vacheron).

Velina Fabbiano. A brand of bags that was founded in 2002 and belongs to the Chinese company HAILAN Leather Co. Made in China, this brand has nothing to do with Italy. However, the international website of the brand honestly talks about its Chinese origin.

Venera (Rosaria-Venera, Venera-Rosaria). The brand is positioned as Italian, but it does not have an Italian website. There is an English-language website, but it is very simple and has Russian telephone numbers. There is no information about the products of this brand on the Italian-language Internet.

In addition, leather goods are also sold under werewolf shoe brands in relevant stores - for example, Mascotte, CorsoComo, Carlo Pazolini, Carnaby, Chester And TJ Collection. In a chain of shoe stores Tervolina brands presented Gaetano Riva And Propaganda, possibly belonging to this network (they do not have websites, information about the products of these brands is only on the Russian-language Internet; the largest range of their items is on the Tervolina website). Many dubious brands can be found in stores Lady & Gentleman city. Read more about suspicious brands in the clothing industry, and in the shoe industry.

Finally, it is worth mentioning honest leather goods brands. Not all, of course, but only some. These are Petek (Turkey, but has been operating since 1855 and has a good price-quality ratio), Longchamp (France), Le Tanneur (France), Gerard Henon (France), Piquadro (Italy), Hermes (France), Louis Vuitton (France) ), Calabrese (Italy), Lancel (France), Tuscany Leather (Italy), Delsey (France), Samsonite (USA), Gucci (Italy), Montblanc (Germany), Michael Kors (USA) and others. Please note, however, that these brands are not necessarily manufactured in their country of registration.

Eleganzza- luxury women's bags, scarves, gloves and other accessories from a popular Italian manufacturer.

The history of the creation of the Eleganzza brand (Eleganzza)

Famous designer from Italy Benvenuto Arno created a wonderful brand Eleganzza. These are elegant bags, gloves and various leather accessories. For 20 years now, the brand’s unsurpassed style has been pleasing women with its designer attributes. Eleganzza is able to satisfy every taste and create a bright and expensive image.

The brand is interesting for its long history, which begins with such a great era called the Renaissance, and has a direct connection with the name of the sculptor from Florentina Benvenuto Chelini, famous for his design of the famous basilica, named after St. Christopher. He combined many different talents. Encyclopedic dictionaries talk about him as a talented person from Italy who was interested in sculpture, painting, jewelry and music. All this happened in the 16th century.

Over time, in the middle of the twentieth century, at the request of the Florentine episcopate, the ancient temple of St. Christopher began to be restored by experts in the field of mosaic craftsmanship, namely its technological and historical aspects - Giovanni Arno. He was a very distinguished specialist in this environment and considered mosaics to be the most beautiful creation of artistic craft, since the unusual combination of multi-colored glass has not been changed for centuries. To learn the wonderful skill called smalt making, Giovanni spent all day long in his library and scrupulously studied ancient parchments with the secrets of brewing all kinds of shades of smalt. “We can see old mosaics even after many years, in the same original form!” - the restorer never ceased to admire his masterpieces. The artistic masters of the Renaissance gave each new shade of smalt their own poetic name: shade of sage, sweet wine of the province of Provence, pink ash, Svan green, and the like. And each recipe was kept in the strictest confidence, had its own special history and was the property of a dynasty of artists.

But during the restoration of the basilica, in the midst of work, Giovani Arno was disappointed - he could not reveal the secret of the most important shade of smalt in the famous mosaic of St. Christopher, but this recipe was not in the ancient manuscripts of Florentine masters. Eleganza is a shade of antique patina on silver Murano glass - a luxurious and at the same time simple color, but thousands of attempts to restore it were unsuccessful; after restoration, the new and old shades would be very noticeably different from each other. It seemed that the technology for its creation had long been lost forever. Giovani was completely despondent.

But soon two events filled with joy happened in the life of Giovanni Arno. First, on the eve of his birthday, Arno had a son, who was named Konstantin. In the future, he will be the father of the founder of the Eleganzza brand. But the birth of his son was only the beginning of success for the famous restorer; he soon received the good news that lost sheets from a 16th-century manuscript written by Benvenuto Cellini were found on the territory of Lublin, and in them was the long-awaited secret of making the Eleganzza shade.

This wonderful romantic story with a happy ending became a real talisman for the Arno dynasty. The restoration of the Church of St. Christopher ended very successfully. And when, years later, Giovanni’s grandson was born, he insisted that the boy be given the name Benvenuto, in honor of the famous sculptor and great master of the Renaissance. And this name really brought great success for their family, Benvenuto Arnault became a prestigious designer and continued the dynasty of artists, now in the field of making women's bags and accessories.

In 1991, while creating his own brand, Benvenuto, without a moment’s hesitation, gave it the name Eleganzza, in honor of the remarkable discovery of his grandfather. The elegant shade of Venetian glass has become not only the talisman of the Arnault family, but also the main color of the new brand.

At first, the company produced exclusively women's products, namely bags, wallets and other accessories. All of them were made only from genuine leather and were famous for their excellent quality. Later, the Eleganzza brand expanded its range with a line of accessories for men.

2008 was a significant year for the Eleganzza brand; it received the elite award “For the best models of bags spring - summer 2008”, which earned it even greater authority in the world market.

In 2014, the company got a new creative director - Claudio Biasia. From the age of 14, Claudio helped sew bags in the workshop of his brother Francesco, and over time began to work with the brand.

In the new season autumn-winter 2014-2015, the new creative director showed himself in the best way, he created new women's bags in a combination of leather and suede, in a variety of styles, as well as gloves decorated with metal details in lace, leopard and snake prints. The collection features exclusive models of products such as bags and gloves, created in the color-blocking style and the new patchwork technique.

As additional accessories for outerwear, the Eleganzza label offered stoles, scarves, scarves with very original prints in the form of abstractions, flowers, geometric patterns, ethnic and marine patterns.

When creating a new collection, the brand always strictly adheres to modern fashion trends and the originality of its own style. Eleganzza are accessories always made in a combination of various shades, a fusion of different types of fabric, decorated with lace and openwork prints. Every year Eleganzza offers two collections for the fall/winter and spring/summer seasons.

Eleganzza brand products are always of good quality, because they are manufactured only according to modern standards and meet all requirements. All factories are equipped with high-tech equipment, production undergoes rigorous quality control, and the materials do not cause allergies.

When making leather products, designers use only the highest quality materials. To create shawls, scarves and stoles, exclusively expensive natural materials are used: silk, cashmere and wool.

Where to buy women's bags, scarves, gloves and other accessories of the Eleganzza brand in Ukraine:

According to information from the official website, a large number of stores are concentrated in the Russian Federation. Residents of our country can order products only in some online stores, but beware of counterfeits. The prices for these products are quite high.

The Italian brand Eleganzza is known for producing leather and silk accessories for men and women. The brand was founded in 1991 in a small Italian town. At first, only women's products were produced under the brand name; over time, the range was also expanded to include men's accessories. Today, Eleganza women's collections consist of several main lines. Bags are everyday leather accessories of a discreet style, but in interesting shades (dark green, burgundy, mustard, blue, lilac). Shawls and scarves are a broad category that includes bright silk scarves with original prints, cotton and wool stoles, and knitted scarves. Umbrellas - classic canes and modern folding models with interesting top designs; designers decorate the products with prints of animals, plants, birds and abstractions. Gloves and mittens are everything you need to competently complete the look: classic leather gloves, elongated models, mittens, fur and leather mittens. Eleganzza men's collections are represented by strict umbrellas, classic leather gloves in subdued colors and thick scarves with original patterns. To make accessories, soft genuine leather of various types is used, for example, women's gloves are combined with two types of leather - suede and smooth.

The Eleganzza trademark was officially registered in 1991 and is named after the recipe for an ancient smalt with a silver patina color - “eleganzza”. Thus, the silver mosaic face became the visual symbol of the brand, reflecting the philosophy of the artistic approach in creating an image: “All attention to detail.” Eleganza are status accessories for women who see elegance as the basis of their everyday image. Buyers of this brand's products are not inclined to compromise; they choose only the best, preferring to build a wardrobe exclusively from fashionable items of the highest quality, testifying to their impeccable taste and high social status. Eleganzza's creative products meet the requirements of these women 100%, helping to create the image of a socially and financially successful person who is confident in his choice.

The status of accessories of this brand consists of elegant design, the latest technologies for processing genuine leather, high quality tailoring of the product, as well as careful compliance with the fashion trends of the season. Spectacular, purposeful, charismatic and attractive - all this can be said about the “Woman in Eleganzza style”. For this lady, style, elegance and status are more important than fleeting fashion. When creating her own individual image, she carefully selects accessories, since it is small details and nuances that make life expressive and bright!

The exhibition salon of the Eleganzza fashion house is located in Italy, in an ancient palazzo (palace) of the 19th century in Milan, on Via Montenapoleone - the main fashion street of the city, on a par with the boutiques of world famous brands: Versace, Valentino, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and others . In 2014, the famous Italian accessory designer Claudio Biasia became the creative director of the Eleganzza Fashion House. Now, under his leadership, designers are developing seasonal collections “spring-summer” and “autumn-winter”, which reflect current trends in the fashion market. The basis of the collections are women's bags, gloves, umbrellas, scarves and stoles. The assortment also includes men's models: stylish scarves, neckerchiefs, umbrellas and gloves.

For the convenience of customers, Eleganza works in the concept of a ready-made stylistic solution (Total Look), when collections of all accessories are developed in a single style direction. Ornaments, shapes, color shades, materials and accessories - everything is focused on the ease of creating sets. Bags, scarves, gloves, umbrellas and small leather goods are easily assembled into a single “puzzle”, elegantly complementing each other. You can experiment with this fascinating “style constructor” yourself, trust an experienced sales consultant or a fashion stylist. All wardrobe items are collected together, as in a mosaic panel - this is how a unique, charming image of a Woman is created.

In 2014, the Eleganzza Fashion House invited a new creative director to collaborate - the talented Italian designer Claudio Biasi, who until 2014 held the post of creative designer and manager in the family business company - Francesco Biasia (Francesco Biasi). For several years, Claudio Biasia has successfully collaborated with the Braccialini brand. The principle of family succession of business, continuation of artistic dynasties is a typical phenomenon for the Italian fashion world, and the Biasi family is the personification of such a successful family partnership. Claudio began his career at the age of 14, when he began working in his brother Francesco Biasia's bag-making workshop. Over time, the small family business grew into a large enterprise with more than a thousand employees. Since childhood, revolving in the unique atmosphere of design and sewing art, craft and creative “magic”, “when a plate of fragrant leather, through the efforts of a dozen tremulous hands, gradually turns into a stylish, chic thing”, Claudio studied all stages of the production of bags and accessories from the cutting stage to the implementation stage finished product. Design and fashion production became the main passion of his life: “This is my favorite thing, my passion, my inspiration!” - the master assures. Collections of Eleganza branded accessories, created under the leadership of “maestro Claudio,” are already sold in the brand’s boutiques in all cities of Russia, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.

On April 9, 1545, Benvenuto Cellini broke the red oily wax seal, opening the message of the Florentine Archbishop Alessandro Ottaviano Medici; the chirping of birds, the smell of sun-warmed earth and the always intoxicating Parisian spring wind burst into the open window of the great jeweler’s workshop in an instant. Having broken the seal and opened the letter, the sculptor simultaneously ended his career in Paris and opened the golden page of his work in his native Florence. The future Pope Leo XI persuaded Benvinuto to return home to begin work on the improvement of the Loggia Lanzi. The archbishop ended the letter with the words: “Come to me and I will shower golden rain on you.”

From Siena to Florence it is only 32 kilometers. In Giovanni Arno's youth, it took no more than two hours to cover this distance on a bicycle. Before the war, Giovanni studied to be a restorer, and it was then that he became interested in mosaics, partly because mosaic restorers were very rare, and partly because mosaics seemed to the young Tuscan at that time to be the height of artistic craft: just think how completely tangible cubes of multi-colored smalt turn into three-dimensional paintings .

Thousands of shades of transparent colored glass excited the mind and at the same time required a very precise, almost mathematical approach. In ancient times, each shade had its own name. The beauty and aroma of ancient names attracted Giovanni: Sevan green, sage color, rose ash, rose tears, yellow agate, pervanche, celadon, cobalt, golden sepia and gold sepia, Portuguese blue, sweet wine of Provence, green tobacco... tens of thousands of shades, in Each has its own character, each has its own cooking recipe, its own history.

To become a smalt maker, Giovanni studied inorganic chemistry, breathed caustic salts, spent weeks in the library of the Priory of the Florentine Republic, studying brown sheets of parchment, collecting bit by bit the secrets of mastery, solving the charades and riddles of those ancient mosaicists who tried to encrypt the secrets of the shade recipe...

The most difficult thing for the researcher was the search for a recipe for the famous shade of centuries-old patina on a silver Murano mirror - elegance - as the old masters called this most complex, magnificent shade. It is he who is often found in the ancient basilica of St. Christopher - the only Christian saint with the head of a dog.

By the time the Episcopate of Florence placed an order for the restoration of the Basilica of St. Christopher, Giovanni Arno was already in his forty-third year, he owned his own restoration workshop and was considered in Italy the most authoritative specialist in the history and technology of mosaic work, the best expert in smalt making. The search for a recipe for a wonderful shade of elegance occupied all the restorer’s attention. Hours turned into days, days into months, tests on hot glass did not give the desired result...

On the eve of Dr. Giovanni Arno's forty-fourth birthday, two events happened: his son Constantin was born, and two days after this joyful event he received a call from Ljubljana, where, after the death of the collector Radonaz Milavić, the pages of the book “The Life of Benvenuto, son of Maestro Cellini”, which had disappeared in the 18th century, were discovered , a Florentine, written by himself in Florence." The entire book was written down from the words of the famous sculptor and jeweler by his fourteen-year-old secretary, and the main part of it was discovered in 1805 in one of the Florentine bookstores, after which it was transferred to the Laurinzeano library, where the manuscripts are kept to this day. However, several sheets disappeared without a trace, and now they have been discovered in Ljubljana, along with the sheets of the famous treatise that miraculously survived the fires of the monk Savonarola, and lists of an alchemist and smalt-maker who worked with Benvenuto Cellini were discovered. Arriving in Ljubljana and receiving Giovanni Arno’s texts, to my extraordinary amazement I found in the lists recipes for shades of ancient smalt, among them was a recipe for eleganza...

This romantic story, associated with the successful completion of the restoration of the Basilica of St. Christopher in the south of Florence, became a legend and talisman of the Arno family. At the birth of his grandson, it was Giovanni’s grandfather who insisted that the boy receive the name Benvenuto in honor of the famous sculptor and artist of the Renaissance. And the magic of the family legend worked: Benvenuto Arno became a successful designer and continued the artistic traditions of the clan in the field of creating women's bags and accessories. When choosing a name for his own brand in 1991, the designer did not hesitate for a minute: of course, ELEGANZZA, a wonderful discovery of his grandfather, a lucky talisman. And the exquisite shade of the Venetian mirror has become the signature color of the new brand.

What does the word ELEGANZZA mean? What is the visual image of the ELEGANZZA brand?

The word ELEGANZZA is the name of one of the rarest shades of colored glass from which mosaics were laid out in the churches of Florence in the 16th century. It was this color that became the signature color of ELEGANZZA (show this color - labels on bags of this color). The visual image is a mosaic head of a woman (show where it is located in the store).

What brands of leather bags does the Gretta company represent on the Russian market, what is the difference between the collections of each brand of leather bags. The Gretta company represents products of three brands on the Russian market " ELEGANZZA", "PALIO", "LABBRA».

TM "ELEGANZZA": In the collection of this brand, along with classic types of leather, the newest, most expensive and exclusive fashion leathers are always used (for example, 40 types of leather were used in the spring-summer 2011 collection), and very interesting accessories. All the latest trends are reflected in the collections of this brand. The models are very diverse in design, the most relevant color palette for the season is presented. Many collections of bags are decorated with removable keychains; small leather goods (wallets, etc.) are also produced under this brand. Wallets, as a rule, are made of the same leather as Eleganzza bags, so it is easy to complement the purchased bag with some small leather goods. Along with the basic colors of leather, these models use colors that meet the trends of the season. Elegant, discreet models and fashionable accessories should attract the attention of women who want to buy a bag for every day. In terms of price, TM LABBRA is positioned in the “average” segment, so its price is on average lower than that of the Eleganzza brand. The logo of this brand is a cute basset dog, the image of which is present on every bag of this brand. Bags TM ELEGANZZA And TM LABBRA manufactured in China at the Italian trading house's own factory ELEGANZZA. Factory name "ELEGANZZATradingCO, LTD",

TM PALIO occupies a price niche between Labbra and Eleganzza. It should be noted that for all of the above brands carry out strict quality control at all stages of production, so the quality of the bag is consistently high, regardless of its price.

What types of raw materials are leather for bags made from? What do we classify as classic skin types?

As a rule, 2 main types of leather are used for the production of bags: cattle leather (cow, bull), called leather cattle , and skins of small ruminants (lamb, goat). Python, crocodile, ostrich, and fish skins are also used to sew exclusive, expensive bags.

We consider smooth to be the classic type. nappa , lamb skin , skin Olympic , skin cattle with deer and crocodile embossing, split velor .These are plain, smooth-dyed leathers.

What types of finishing of the front layer do you know? (show on skin samples).

What is fashion leather?

Every year, manufacturers create different types of treatments for the facial layer of the skin, which allow you to achieve different effects on the skin. These skins we call fashion leather . (This concept not generally accepted, we accepted this in our company). There is a fashion for finishing leather, just as textile production creates new collections of fabrics every season.

It is possible to create unique effects on the skin only with very modern equipment. This production process is very expensive, so the cost of such leather is high, and, therefore, bags made from it are always more expensive than bags made from classic plain leathers.

There are many types of treatment of the facial layer of the skin, but the most commonly used are the following three main ones:

Embossing of the front layer. Embossing is done with a plate with a pattern applied to it. The pattern is an imitation of the skin of animals or reptiles (crocodile, ostrich, snake, python, etc.), and the pattern can also be an imitation of a fantasy pattern, for example, floral or geometric. Plate embossing is performed either by heat treatment or by high frequency currents. Embossing can be done on all types of leather, including nubuck. The rules for caring for it depend on the type of leather on which the embossing is made.
Laser skin treatment. Many types of leather finishing are performed using laser technology. The technology applies to all types of leather. This technology is based on applying a pattern to the skin using so-called laser paper (not a common name). Laser paper is a thin film onto which a design is applied with a laser. First, the surface of the leather is processed and a special composition is applied to the surface of the leather, then paper is applied and heat treatment is performed. Then the film is removed, and the pattern remains on the skin. If you need to achieve a shiny effect, then use laser paper on which varnish is applied. Further, after heat treatment, the varnish remains on the skin and appears in stripes, dots, etc.
To obtain a convex pattern on the leather (similar to the type of “skate” or “pebbles” leather we sell), special laser paper with scales is used; after heat treatment, the leather dries, and the scales on the skin become voluminous after heat treatment.
PERFORATION on leather. Very often, especially for summer collections of bags, perforated leather is used. This type of finishing, such as perforation, is performed on any type of leather. Perforation can be through or non-through, and can be applied either chaotically or in the form of a pattern. Often, perforated leather is duplicated with a knitted base, this is done so that the product does not deform during use.

What's happened split velor? What's happened nubuck? What is the difference velor from nubuck? Features of caring for a product made from such leather.

Split
- a layer of the dermis obtained by splitting (dividing into layers) a semi-finished product in leather production. Distinguish WITH. facial, middle and mezdrovy (or melon) From melon WITH. produce velours(in common people the word is used suede) for the production of footwear and leather goods. Split velor In terms of performance properties, it is inferior to leather with a preserved facial layer. To bag out velor has retained its original appearance for a long time, it requires constant and proper care.

It should be noted that velor is painted, and much more so when wet than when dry. The buyer should be informed that it is better not to wear dark-colored velor bags with light-colored clothing, especially in wet weather.

Velor items should be cleaned regularly with a special brush. To remove traces of rain stains, the bag should first be dried, and then the stuck together fibers should be combed with a velor brush (preferably metal) in the direction of the pile and against it. It is recommended to clean dirty or oily areas with a rubber velor brush. If the contamination is severe, you can use a cleaner for velor leather, then let the leather dry and brush with a wire brush. Treat grease, oil and heavy dirt with a special stain-removing spray, brush, let dry and comb the pile. In order for black velor products to retain their deep black color longer, they must be regularly tinted with paints for velor leather, following the instructions on the packaging.

Nubuck– fleecy chrome-tanned leather with the front surface sanded with a fine-grained abrasive material. U nubuck very low pile and a very beautiful velvet surface.

Because nubuck is produced from grain leather, it is more expensive than split velor . Caring for nubuck products is the same as for velor products

Important! Each bag of all brands contains a reminder from the manufacturer on how to care for the product.

What is patent leather? Features of caring for a patent leather product.

Patent leather is leather with a varnish coating (duplicated with a varnish film). The coating can be plain or with a color transition, with breaks or with sparkles inside, with a “chameleon” effect.

To properly care for patent leather, you need to know some features. A brush is not suitable for maintaining varnish. It is best to use a velvet cloth or napkin. To add shine to a patent leather product, you need to use special restoring creams that are selected by color. Such products contain glycerin, lanolin or castor oil. They help moisturize the film, as they are water-based. After applying the cream, you need to polish the item with a clean cloth.

Modern types of varnish coating are not afraid of frost, as was previously thought. The patent leather we use in production allows us to wear products made from it at temperatures up to 7-10 degrees.

. What is leather Olympic? Features of caring for leather products Olympic.

Olympic is an established name for leather with a shiny coating on the outer layer. Products made from these leathers have a fashionable, shiny appearance. To produce such leather, leather with the face intact is selected and a shiny coating is applied to it.

A product made from this leather retains its shape well, but during use, bags made from this leather may experience scratches and abrasions. This is not considered a defect; on the contrary, such changes give the product a fashionable vintage look. These are features of all leathers of this type, regardless of the manufacturer.

To care for such skins, you need to use creams and emulsions to cleanse and moisturize smooth skins. Scuffs can be painted over with special paints.

What's happened nappa? How to care for a product made from nappa.

Nappa called semi-aniline tanned leather cattle with high ductility and even color. Soft and thin material with high decorative properties provides a wide variety of options: nappa can be shiny (aniline coating is applied to the leather) or matte (the matte effect is achieved using semi-aniline impregnation), perforated or smooth.

The only property remains unchanged: the durability and quality of this material. Leather nappa It is produced mainly from the skins of both young and adult animals - the skins are double tanned, which also ensures greater softness of this leather.

Various types of dirt can be removed using a leather cleaner or a foam of special soap. Please note that the skin should not be soaked through.

To touch up scuffs and scratches on products made from such leather, we can recommend special paints for colored and black leathers based on aniline - they perfectly preserve the elasticity of the products.

A bag made of light leather can be cleaned with special leather cleaning products.

What are the main differences between skin cattle and lamb skin?

Firstly, these types of leather differ in size. Skin area cattle much larger than the surface area of a lamb's skin. This is important, since when sewing large bags from lamb, there will be a very large consumption of leather, which will affect the price. Therefore, it is preferable to sew small bags from lamb leather.

Leather structure cattle denser and thicker than lamb skin. Lamb leather is softer and lighter. By cutting down (a piece of leather from which the bag is made; attached to the product next to the label) it is clear that the leather cattle more shaggy on the underside than velvety lambskin. The latter stretches easily, the skin cattle more dense and much more difficult to stretch.

A lamb bag is lighter and softer than a bag made from cattle , but it loses its shape faster, scratches and abrasions form on the skin. Service life of the bag cattle more than lamb bags.

How to distinguish natural leather from artificial leather?

You can distinguish natural leather from artificial leather by the cut. A cut of natural leather is uniform in thickness, without visible layers, while in artificial leather, layers (base, polymer layer) can be distinguished on the cut. Also, if the leather is not varnished or coated, natural leather will feel warm to the touch, while faux leather will feel cool.

On each Gretta product, along with the label, there is felling (a piece of leather from which this model is sewn). By cutting down the buyer can make sure that the product is made of genuine leather.

What materials are bag linings made from? What are the features of these materials?

The lining for the bags is made of polyester fabric with a jacquard pattern. This fabric is impregnated. Impregnation gives the fabric strength, the fabric does not crumble or unravel at the seams.

Some capsule collections of bags have a silk or cotton lining. But this fabric is also produced specifically for lining.

The ELEGANZZA collection features a lining with a graphic pattern in corporate colors.

What are the main design features of bags?

After many years of studying the preferences of Russian customers, all models of women's bags include the following design features:

  • a pocket with a zipper on the back wall of the bag for small items, travel cards, etc. (if the design allows);
  • long handles of optimal length or short handles + long removable strap;
  • 90% of bags are closed with a top zipper;
  • Inside the bag there is a zippered pocket (middle) (if the design allows), as well as a zippered pocket for small items, a pocket for a mobile phone, and an open pocket.

Is it acceptable to have different measure leather on various parts of the bag?

The facial layer of the skin has a unique natural pattern - measure . This pattern is not the same on different parts of the skin.

Various measure leather on various parts of the bag is acceptable, since leather is a natural material made from animal skins. Just as no two animals are the same, no two pieces of skin are identical. In addition to its own genetic heritage, each hide bears small nicks and scars that have marked the animal throughout its life. These natural features are not a defect in the leather, but are considered "marks of difference" in the leather, adding uniqueness to each finished product.

As a rule, important parts of bags (walls, wedges, yokes) are cut out of saddle cloth (the middle part of the leather (back)), where measure uniform. The remaining parts of the leather (collar, flank, paws, tail) are used to cut out less important parts (tails, bottom, etc.)

What types of accessories are used for bags? (Show on products)

For the production of bags, a variety of accessories of different colors are used. The most commonly used types of coatings are:

  • nickel
  • brushed nickel (matte)
  • blackened nickel
  • antique
  • matte gold
  • bright gold.

All fittings are made from high-quality alloys, then galvanic coating is applied to the surface. Depending on the color, the fittings have different prices. The most expensive coating is gold, the cheapest is nickel.
